About MySunday

Β

Hi, I’m Nomonde Zona Magadla, and this is MySunday.

Somewhere between Friday excitement and Monday anxiety, Sunday became the day we spend thinking about work instead of enjoying the last few hours of our weekend. Before we know it, the weekend has slipped through our fingers, and we’re already promising ourselves that next weekend will be different.

I started wondering…

What if Sundays actually belonged to us?

What if they became the day we slowed down, put our phones away, gathered our favourite people and laughed until someone cried? The day we had the conversations we never usually make time for. The day we remembered that the people sitting next to us are far more interesting than the people on our screens.

That’s where MySunday began.

I’m someone who’s endlessly fascinated by words. I love word games, clever questions, double meanings and the playful ways language helps us understand one another. A single question can make you laugh, reveal a hidden truth, settle a debate or start a conversation you’ll remember for years.

I’ve always believed that games can do more than entertain us.

They can help us become ourselves.

Every game I create is designed to make it a little easier to be honest, curious, playful and present. To help friends become closer. To help couples discover new things about each other. To help families laugh a little louder. To remind us that being vulnerable doesn’t have to be uncomfortable, it can actually be the beginning of real connection.

My hope is that when you open one of our games, you won’t feel like you’re answering questions.

You’ll feel like you’re discovering people.

Including yourself.

So here’s my invitation.

Put your phone down.

Forget about Monday for a while. Let your guard down.

Trust the people around the table. Trust the cards.I hope they’ll lead you somewhere unexpected.

Maybe that’s laughter. Maybe it’s honesty. Maybe it’s a memory you’ll still be talking about years from now.

Whatever happens, I hope it reminds you of something we’ve all forgotten from time to time:

Sundays belong to you.

Welcome to MySunday.
