How to Make Time for Your People
Life gets busy, and the people we love can slowly become people we only mean to call.
Good times do not always happen by accident; sometimes you have to make them happen.
Growing up means work, responsibilities, relationships and routines, but friendship still needs somewhere to live.
Here are five small habits for keeping grown relationships intact:
- Make the plan.
Donβt always wait for someone else to organise something. - Check in.
Send the message, make the call, ask how they are. - Make regular time.
A monthly dinner or Sunday hangout can become something everyone looks forward to. - Celebrate the little things.
Birthdays are great, but so are new jobs, good news, bad weeks and random Tuesday dinners. - Have fun together.
Laugh, play games, eat something good and make memories that have nothing to do with being productive.
Good relationships need attention.
Make the time. Keep your people. Have a good time.
